Canines require considerable amounts of protein to ensure that they're healthy and active. Your puppy ought to get the majority of his protein from whole meat resources, like fresh chicken. Beans have a great amount of protein as well.

 4 chicken breasts
 1 cup kidney beans, drained
 1 cup black beans, drained
 1 cup carrots, diced
 ½ cup tomato paste
 4 cups chicken broth
1

Gather your ingredients!

2

Trim the excess fat off the chicken breasts and then cut them into small pieces.

3

Drain and rinse your beans. Set aside.

4

Dice your carrots (about 2 carrots will make 1 cup diced), then set them aside, too.

5

Measure out your tomato paste and chicken broth. Set aside.

6

Cook the chicken breasts in a non-stick deep saute pan (4 quart) over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Alternatively, cook in any regular non-stick pan if you don't mind doing extra dishes!

7

Add the beans, carrots, tomato paste, and chicken broth to the saute pan and cover with a lid. Cook over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes. If you don't have a deep saute pan, then add all the ingredients including the chicken to a large soup pot.

8

It's done once the chicken is fully cooked through and your carrots are soft.

9

Allow the mixture to cool before serving. Store leftover chili in the fridge for up to five days.
